Digital Product License Agreement

Effective Date: July 2026

This Digital Product License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the purchase and use of all digital products sold by Rental Pivot.

By purchasing or downloading any digital product from Rental Pivot, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. License Grant

Upon successful purchase, Rental Pivot grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the purchased digital products for your own personal or internal business purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of the product or any intellectual property rights.

2. Ownership

All digital products remain the exclusive intellectual property of Rental Pivot.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Rental agreements
  • Inspection forms
  • Checklists
  • Maintenance logs
  • Business templates
  • Guides
  • Educational documents
  • Graphics
  • Downloads
  • PDF files
  • Written content

Your purchase grants permission to use these materials under this Agreement only.

3. Permitted Uses

You may:

  • Download purchased files.
  • Print copies for use within your own business.
  • Edit templates to fit your business needs.
  • Customize documents with your own company name, logo, pricing, policies, and branding.
  • Use the documents with your own customers as part of operating your trailer rental business.
  • Store backup copies for your own use.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Resell any digital product.
  • Share purchased files with others.
  • Upload files to public websites.
  • Distribute products through social media, cloud storage, or file-sharing services.
  • Sell modified versions of our templates.
  • Claim Rental Pivot materials as your own work.
  • Copy or reproduce products for commercial resale.
  • Include our templates in another product, course, membership, or subscription.
  • Allow multiple businesses to use one purchased copy unless a separate license has been obtained.

5. Single Business License

Unless otherwise stated, each purchase includes a license for one individual or one business entity.

If multiple businesses or organizations wish to use the same materials, separate licenses must be purchased.

6. Customization

You are encouraged to customize templates for your business.

However, customization does not transfer ownership or create any rights to redistribute or resell the modified documents.

7. No Legal Advice

Rental Pivot provides educational templates based on practical business experience.

Our documents are not legal advice and should not be considered a substitute for legal counsel.

Customers are responsible for having documents reviewed by a qualified attorney if legal compliance is important to their business.

8. No Warranty

Digital products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

While every effort has been made to provide accurate and useful materials, Rental Pivot does not guarantee:

  • Legal compliance
  • Suitability for every business
  • Accuracy under every jurisdiction
  • Fitness for a particular purpose

Users assume all responsibility for how the materials are used.

9. Intellectual Property Protection

Unauthorized copying, distribution, resale, or reproduction of Rental Pivot products may violate copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Rental Pivot reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies to protect its intellectual property.

10. License Termination

This license automatically terminates if you violate any provision of this Agreement.

Upon termination, you must immediately cease using and destroy all unauthorized copies of the digital products.

11. Updates

Rental Pivot may update or improve digital products from time to time.

Purchasing a product does not guarantee access to future revisions, updates, or new editions unless specifically stated at the time of purchase.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rental Pivot shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Use of digital products
  • Business decisions
  • Legal disputes
  • Lost profits
  • Data loss
  • Business interruption
  • Errors or omissions in templates

Users assume full responsibility for implementing and using the purchased materials.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
